Dr. Vanaria is a native of Waltham and attended public school there. He received his Bachelor's degree cum laude from Suffolk University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University. His hospital training was completed at the Abington Memorial Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and, in August of 1997, was awarded the certificate of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Vanaria is a clinical instructor at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Department of Prosthodontics. Previously, he served as a clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, 1980 - 2005.

Dr. Vanaria has been practicing in Newton since 1987.
